Directions for Oral Use: Serving Size 1 packet

Oral Use: Mix one packet of Argitein with 6 to 8 oz of water. Stir briskly Argitein mixes easily.


Tube Feeding: Flush tube with 30cc of water. Mix one packet of Argitein in at least 120cc of water, stir briskly and infuse via syringe down feeding tube. Flush tube with an additional 30 cc of water. Continue tube feeding as prescribed.

Argitein is a cherry flavored instant drink mix which delivers 5 grams of Whey Protein Isolate and 4.5 grams of Arginine when mixed 6 to 8 oz. of water.

  • Argitein added to a patient's oral intake or standard tube feeding provides additional nitrogen equivalent to 14 grams of protein.
  • Whey protein isolate, the highest biological value protein available, promotes skin health, wound healing, bolstered immune response and increase muscle strength.
  • Arginine has long been classified as a "conditional essential" amino acid. Under such conditions such as metabolic stress caused by pressure ulcers, surgery, illness, burns and wounds, dietary supplementation is required to meet the body's increased demands.

Argitein is a dietary supplement drink mix containing 4.5 grams of Arginine and 5 grams of Whey Protein for patients with altered metabolic conditions that respond to arginine and protein.
